Announcement
On May 2nd at Plaster Student Union at Missouri State University, we will be hosting the IRS Tax Compliance Workshop for Small and Medium-Size Tax-Exempt Organizations. The workshop will explain what 501(c)(3) organizations must do to keep their tax-exempt status and comply with tax obligations.
Workshop topics will include: introduction tax-exempt status, unrelated business income, employment issues, form 990 series, and required disclosures. To get a better understanding of the workshop and its topics, see the IRS Tax Compliance Workshop Handout or Flyer.
By attending this workshop, you will also be able to receive continuing education credits through professional programs. These credits will be worth 6 hours and include: CEU, CPE, and CLE.
This year's workshop will be presented by two outstanding IRS employees, Cheryl A. Teser and Joyce Hoover. Both have expansive knowledge and experience with tax-exempt organizations and will help further your understanding of how to keep your 501(c)(3) organization up-to-date with tax obligations.
We hope all can attend this year!
